In this short, Stede reads a journal on a familiar but not quite familiar website.

Appearances[]

Notes & trivia[]

  • This is Stede's very first speaking appearance in a Blugrays short and only his second appearance in one overall. He only made a non-speaking cameo in Water in Progress in the past.
    • In addition, as a result of this occurrence, at the time this short was released, this makes Dilphan the only main character not to speak in a Blugrays short (he hasn't even appeared in one at the time either).
  • The animation style slightly changed as more BFB-like movements are used here, especially with the use of a Recoil-like extension Natty23 made.
    • Plus, the camera movement in this short was based off one Michael Huang did in BFB 3.
  • This is the first Blugrays short/content piece to use the new Google Chrome design.
  • The main font of the Walls and Streets Journal (a.k.a. the one used in the logo and article title) is not actually Escrow, but a similar-looking one instead. The other two commonly used fonts in the journal's reference (the Wall Street Journal), Exchange and Retina, was extracted from the website and used here.
  • The article's text was originally not going to just be random lines.
  • This is the first short to have had its development begin after Season 2 started. Every other short released during this season so far (save for two of them) was in production in some way (some of them for a long time) before Season 1 ended.
  • This short was animated in what was technically a prerelease of Adobe Animate CC 2019, but since it was finished before the version was released to the public, the credits only state "Adobe Animate CC" because Natty23 didn't feel safe mentioning 2019 just yet and it wasn't actually animated in Adobe Animate CC 2018.
  • This short wasn't added to the Blugrays Short playlist on YouTube until the succeeding one, Blugrays Alert, was released.

Goofs[]

  • Artistunknown isn't in the Directed By section of the credits.
